Cornerstone’s relationship with the Simpson Group yielded an opportunity to provide budget pricing for a prospective tenant. During the budgeting phase of preconstruction, Cornerstone and two other contractors were asked to develop a proposal, including a cost estimate from newly prepared construction documents and a construction schedule. Cornerstone’s team met with the property management team and the tenant to discuss our RFP submission and to present our costs, schedule, and qualifications. Cornerstone was awarded the project and construction began within three weeks after the permitting process.
CSG International specializes in business support systems that include sensitive and secured information. Their new environment accurately balances security and technology with a fun, entertaining, and modern design. Specialty systems included DIRTT wall systems, an enclosed insulated glass storefront breakroom, radius walls, and an exposed ceiling structure with acoustical cloud ceilings throughout the open office areas. Multiple change requests were approved during the project; all changes were completed within the construction schedule, with punch work completed within two weeks.
