Description

Oakhurst Medical sought to expand its practice to the Northeast Atlanta area. Cornerstone partnered with Boxer Property and Planning Interiors to work through preconstruction and construction services to facilitate Oakhurst’s newest clinic. The project required that Cornerstone convert existing office space into a new medical clinic, featuring 13 new OBGYN exam rooms, two new ADA restrooms, two lab areas, and a modernized reception and waiting area.

Because it was previously traditional office space, all new plumbing had to be installed throughout to accommodate the demand for water at over 20 locations. Medical-grade cabling was also installed, as required by National Electric Codes. The project was completed two weeks ahead of schedule and helped establish 2295 Park Lake as a new medical office building at the Northlake Office Park.
