Project
Description

Emory Point’s mixed-use development became the backdrop for Schoolhouse Brewery’s second location, a project that Cornerstone brought to life through comprehensive preconstruction and construction services.

Building on the previous successful partnership from the brewery’s initial location, Cornerstone worked in tandem with the design team and brewery owners to balance budget constraints with the need for substantial MEP upgrades.

This collaboration ensured the space could accommodate the brewing equipment while maintaining the desired aesthetic appeal. Precise coordination between construction phases and equipment installation ensured timely completion of the project.

The transformation involved converting an existing bar and restaurant into a multifaceted brewery experience, with a compact brewing production area in the former kitchen and multiple bars and tasting areas throughout.

Cornerstone oversaw critical MEP system updates and modern LED lighting installation, while also bringing to life Schoolhouse Brewery’s “Gymnasium” concept.

The space features an eclectic collection of sports memorabilia, creating an immersive atmosphere that embodies the brewery’s playful “where education meets recess” tagline.

This unique space seamlessly blends functional brewing operations with a nostalgic, sports-themed environment, offering patrons an unforgettable craft beer experience that’s sure to have them going for gold.

Let's build together.
