Description
Cornerstone, a trusted general contractor serving the Atlanta area, partnered with Cresa and Dominium to bring their vision for a modern headquarters to life on the 5th floor of the Northridge Center II building in Sandy Springs. This project was part of a larger initiative to upgrade Dominium’s corporate offices across the nation, and Cornerstone’s expertise in preconstruction planning, MEP design-build, and construction services played a critical role in its successful execution. The result is a sophisticated, flexible space that blends modern design with the functionality needed to support Dominium’s growing operations.
From the outset, Cornerstone’s experience in managing complex commercial projects was evident. The office space features welcoming reception areas, state-of-the-art conferencing spaces, and a mix of open collaboration zones and private offices, creating an environment that encourages both teamwork and focus. The project’s success lies not only in its aesthetic appeal but also in the functional details, including a high-end A/V package with custom acoustic solutions that ensure optimal sound quality throughout.
A striking element of the design is the wood design clouds in the reception and hospitality areas, which add a touch of warmth to the modern space. Detailed millwork throughout the office complements the sleek, clean lines of the design. A custom sliding-operable glass partition wall in the reception area adds versatility, allowing the space to adapt to various needs and functions. Bright colors and contemporary finishes reflect Dominium’s commitment to innovation and community, while the incorporation of Dominium’s artwork throughout the office ties the design to the company’s identity.
As the first of four nationwide offices to be completed, this headquarters set the standard for future regional offices, exemplifying Dominium’s vision of a collaborative and innovative workspace. Cornerstone’s attention to detail and commitment to delivering a top-tier office environment highlights our ability to execute complex corporate projects. The new headquarters not only meets Dominium’s current needs but positions the company for continued growth and success, ensuring a space that is both forward-thinking and adaptable.
