Description

The Cornerstone Team provided both the preconstruction and construction services to complete the design build of Metro Atlanta’s first open source brewing company. Cornerstone played an integral role in helping achieve the client’s budget by working closely with the design team and the end user to hit both budget milestones and receipt of equipment milestones.

The project consisted of a conversion of a 60% office and 40% warehouse space to a full fledged production brewhouse with an open assembly tasting room. The space features open to structure concepts with direct views into the brewhouse. New electrical service and gas service was installed to achieve the demands of the production equipment supplied by Standard Keg. The space with its simplistic industrial like nature is filled with “School House” themed furnishings and even features its own Principal office

This project required closer coordination of both construction and FF&E package installs to maintain compressed schedule to achieve customer promised production dates. This project was certainly a true testament to Schoolhouse’s motto “Where Education Meets Recess.”
