BRINGING AESTHETICS TO THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY
This project was awarded based on our request for proposal (RFP) presentation, staff interviews, and our cost and schedule estimates, including sensitivity of long-lead items that could potentially move back the start date. During the selection process, Cornerstone began executing due diligence on a specialty moss wall feature and discovered an extremely long lead time. We communicated the urgency to our specialty contractor and executed a contract in order to safeguard our schedule. Then during startup, Cornerstone discovered finishes had not been finalized, and the client was advertising their grand opening date. The project encountered multiple changes during construction, which Cornerstone was able to manage and execute by providing transparent documentation to meet the needs of the customer, and ultimately achieve the originally scheduled completion date in preparation for the client’s grand opening.
