For this project in Dunwoody, Georgia, Cornerstone Contracting led the transformation of a former office space at the South Terraces into a cutting-edge medicinal spa, leveraging our extensive experience in commercial construction. The project required meticulous planning and careful execution, with Cornerstone collaborating closely with JLL and Nelson to reimagine the space layout and maximize its potential.
As the primary contractor, Cornerstone managed all aspects of the construction process, from the initial design consultations to the final tenant occupancy. Despite the challenges of retrofitting an existing office space into a functional medical spa, Cornerstone’s team adhered to a strict schedule and maintained high-quality standards, successfully guiding the project from inception to completion without any delays or budget overruns.
The revitalized space now boasts a carefully curated layout that balances both functionality and aesthetics. A welcoming lobby greets visitors, leading to eight individual treatment rooms designed with patient comfort in mind. The spa also includes an updated restroom, breakroom, and specialized laser room, offering all the necessary amenities for both staff and clients. The space’s bright and airy aesthetic is enhanced by natural finishes that complement the spa’s therapeutic and calming environment.
A standout feature of the design is the reception desk, which masterfully blends wood and stone elements, creating a sleek focal point that sets the tone for the entire space. Further elevating the environment are unique storage solutions, new LED lighting, and modernized mechanical systems, all of which contribute to the space’s efficiency and appeal.
This medical spa embodies Lemmon Avenue’s commitment to helping patients look and feel their best. The transformed space now serves as the ideal setting for the plastic surgery and laser center, providing top-tier care in an environment that is both refreshing and professional.
