Project
Description

Cornerstone Contracting transformed a former college space into the cutting-edge Veteran Affairs Telehealth & Eye Clinic. This design-build project, completed for Boxer Property, involved extensive planning and collaboration with key partners. The team worked diligently to develop a comprehensive space plan and budget, ensuring every aspect of the facility met the specific needs of the VA. Through efficient management and skilled execution, Cornerstone not only finished the project under budget but also delivered it nearly a month ahead of schedule.

The new facility boasts an impressive array of specialized spaces designed to provide comprehensive care to veterans. The Eye Clinic features 20 exam rooms, 5 procedure rooms, and unique vision-impaired at-home training environments, alongside a fully-equipped optical clinic. The Telehealth Clinic offers 30 exam rooms, 5 educational classrooms, and 4 procedure rooms, embracing modern healthcare delivery methods. Security was a top priority, with reinforced walls protecting pharmacy and storage areas. The entire space received a complete HVAC overhaul and stylish, contemporary finishes, creating a functional and welcoming environment that aligns perfectly with the VA’s goals of providing top-tier, accessible healthcare to veterans.
This project stands as a testament to Cornerstone Contracting’s ability to deliver high-quality, purpose-built healthcare facilities. By combining efficiency, innovation, and attention to detail, we have created a space that not only meets but exceeds the VA’s vision for modern veteran care.

Let's build together.
