Description
Cornerstone Contracting took on the challenge of transforming B&R Industrial Automation’s Atlanta office, navigating a design-build process that required close collaboration with the client. The project evolved from initial schematic drawings to a fully realized space, with Cornerstone providing valuable preconstruction services throughout. This approach ensured that B&R’s needs, desires, and budget were all carefully considered. Despite encountering unexpected challenges, such as a pre-existing cracked sewage main during the installation of new restrooms, Cornerstone’s team skillfully managed the situation, avoiding costly delays and keeping the project on track.
The reimagined office space perfectly aligns with B&R Industrial Automation’s status as an international trendsetter in innovation. The design prioritizes collaboration, featuring several conference spaces and open areas that facilitate teamwork across different time zones. A standout DIRRT glass wall system and raised flooring create a seamless, efficient flow throughout the office. Updated LED lighting enhances the modern feel, while strong branding elements reinforce the company’s identity at every turn. From the welcoming reception area to the various collaborative zones, each part of the office has been carefully crafted to support B&R’s dynamic work culture.
